Prize Wheel

Create a spin-to-win wheel with your own prizes and odds. Make the jackpot rare and the small prizes common — you control the weights.

Spin to win — with odds you control

A prize wheel is one of the most effective ways to draw a crowd at a booth, reward customers or add excitement to a stream. This spin-to-win wheel lets you set a weight for every prize, so a 10% discount can be common while the jackpot stays rare. Turn on “Slice size follows weight” to make the wheel show the real odds, or keep equal slices for extra suspense.

How to set up your prize wheel

  1. Edit the example prizes: change the text, color and weight of each slice.
  2. Use a higher weight for common prizes (for example 20) and a low weight for rare ones (for example 1).
  3. Keep a “Try again” slice if you want some spins to win nothing.
  4. Press Spin. Winners see a celebration pop-up.
  5. Remove prizes when they run out, or copy a share link for your team.

Calculating prize chances

Each prize’s chance is its weight divided by the total of all weights. With the default wheel the weights add up to 100, so each weight equals its percentage: 25% “Try again”, 20% “10% OFF”, 1% “JACKPOT”. Change any number and the odds update instantly.

Where to use a prize wheel

  • Trade shows and expos to attract visitors and collect leads.
  • Retail and restaurants for in-store promotions and loyalty rewards.
  • Livestreams as a subscriber or donation reward.
  • Classrooms for reward days (homework pass, choose the game).
  • Office events and team celebrations.

Want a completely custom wheel for other uses? The Custom Spin Wheel Maker works the same way. Drawing one winner from many entries? Use the Giveaway Winner Picker.

Be transparent with participants

If you run a promotion for customers, publish the prizes and odds and follow local promotion laws. Showing the real odds on the wheel is an easy way to build trust.

Prize Wheel — FAQ

How do weighted odds work?

Each slice’s chance equals its weight divided by the sum of all weights. A weight of 10 is ten times more likely than a weight of 1.

Can the slice size show the real odds?

Yes. Open Options and tick “Slice size follows weight”. Each slice then takes up space equal to its chance.

Can I remove a prize once it is won?

Yes. Click “Remove” in the result pop-up to take that prize off the wheel.

Can I use my brand colors?

Yes. Tap the color square next to each prize to choose any color.
