Chore Wheel

Spin for a random chore — or assign every chore fairly across your family or roommates in one click.

Fair chores, fewer arguments

Whoever assigns the chores always gets accused of keeping the easy ones. A chore wheel fixes that: the wheel decides, so nobody can complain. Spin for a single chore, or use Assign all chores fairly to share out every job across your household in one go, with a copyable chore chart.

How to use the chore wheel

  1. List your chores (dishes, vacuuming, laundry, trash…) one per line.
  2. Add the people in your household under People.
  3. Press Assign all chores fairly — chores are shuffled and shared out as evenly as possible.
  4. Copy the chore chart into your family group chat or print it for the fridge.
  5. Or simply spin the wheel whenever someone needs a job.

Chore wheel ideas

  • Weekly rota for roommates and shared houses.
  • Kids’ jobs with age-appropriate tasks and pocket money rewards.
  • Office kitchen duty — dishwasher, fridge clean-out, coffee refills.
  • Classroom jobs such as board cleaner and plant waterer.
  • Weekend projects: garden, garage and declutter tasks.

Tips for making chores stick

Reassign weekly so nobody gets stuck with the worst job, and keep a “bonus chore” slice for extra points or rewards. Put the hardest chores on the list twice if you want them to come up more often for one-off spins. For a classroom job rotation, the Random Student Picker works too.
